• Atten: Friends!

  

  God's ways are too wonderful for me! I cannot believe the blessings He continues to display to me day after day. Great is God's faithfulness!

   

  God has allowed and brought a remarkable man of God into my life. On June 24, 2008, atop Pinnacle Mountian, Kevin Weston expressed his desire to court me! Truly God has directed my heart toward Kevin, and I'm overjoyed to tell you what a blessing he has already been in my life.Words cannot express to you my joy in the amazing providence of God in bringing our lives together. It truly is a miracle.

  

  The short version of how we met is as followed:

  Kevin and I met while both serving in a Children’s program in Atlanta, Georgia. We had the wonderful opportunity to work together presenting Biblical principles. As well as serving with the children’s program, we also were able to play group games, talk about our life purposes, our goals and aim in life. That was the beginning of our attraction to each other... As time went on, God placed it on Kevin’s heart to try and become better acquainted with me and my family. This commenced a lot of conversations with him and his family and my parents. Upon seeing the stupendous character of Kevin, both families were more than happy that we both get better acquainted. All the while, we all were praying that God would direct us according to His plans.

   

  Prior to these days of a courtship with Kevin, God has been teaching me to trust completely in Him. God has shown me that He will never withhold good to those who walk in His ways, and He will never allow me to walk contrary to His will. One particular verse I have taken hold of is Psalms 37:5: “Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.” My God is trust worthy, full of love and mercy. He brings His best in our lives if we only wait upon Him and trusts Him to write our story.

   

  God has showed me clearly and perfectly through one confirmation after another that Kevin is God’s best for my life. It is still a step of faith on my part to see how God will unfold our relationship together. I’ve been amazed and dumbfounded to see God’s great faithfulness to reveal His plan in these matters. Many times I would become fearful and not truly trust that God has His best for me somewhere. Yet, He is faithful. He has helped my unbelief. He has given me the peace and confidence to know that I am walking in His will here and now. Yet, as the same time we both are praying, "Not our will be done, but Thine be done in our lives." He will continue to show us His ways as we continue to commit it all to Him.

   

  During this courtship, Kevin and I are both excited about this special time in our lives where God is linking our hearts together to better serve Him. Please, would you join us in prayer as we purpose to honor God in all we do in this courtship period, and that God will continue to deepen our love for Him and each other as He so desires.

  

  Before I close, I must tell you a little bit about Kevin – He, first of all, is a man that seeks God on His knees. He has a clear life purpose, he has a passion for the things of the Lord, He has a vibrant and daily walk with Jesus Christ, and he has purposed to do whatever it takes to love and obey our Savior. I love these things about him, and I know each of you, my friends, will also.
